New to U.S., Former Humphrey Fellow Found Support from Numerous Sources

In partnership with the Lindberg group, the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education have produced short videos featuring the stories of twelve unique Humphrey alumni. These 2-3 minute videos illustrate the impact of the Humphrey Fellowship Program on the professional and personal development of Fellows during and after their Fellowship year.

This video features Mikhail Volik, 2007-2008 Humphrey Fellow from Russia. Mikhail spent his Humphrey year at Emory University where he focused on HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention. Mikhail is also a recipient of the 2009 Alumni Impact Award, a jointly funded alumni grant by the Department of State and IIE’s Fulbright Legacy Fund.
