Global Policy Dialogue Series
Rabat, Morocco
Seventeen Humphrey alumni and fellow U.S. government exchange alumni gathered for a Global Policy Dialogue focused on collaborative action on critical issues, including public health, education, and economic development. Through roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, participants explored policy solutions and shared strategies to address challenges in their respective fields.
Bratislava, Slovakia
Twenty-seven Humphrey alumni, thought leaders, policymakers, and civil society representatives convened for a Global Policy Dialogue on “Building a Resilient Future in Central and Eastern Europe.” At this event, participants developed strategies to strengthen democracy and address regional brain drain. The event aimed to empower local communities and promote sustainable development for a resilient future in Central and Eastern Europe.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Fifteen Humphrey alumni from Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, along with policymakers and civil society representatives, gathered for a Global Policy Dialogues on “Navigating Risks and Opportunities for a Secure and Sustainable ASEAN.” The event focused on discussions and strategies to address the impact of environmental policy on food security and its implications for the global food supply chain. Participants conducted agricultural site visits to engage with local farmers and learn about various farming practices.
Puebla, Mexico
Fourteen Humphrey alumni joined other U.S. government exchange alumni in critical fields for a Global Policy Dialogue on public policy design and implementation. The event focused on areas such as agriculture, urban planning, public health, and human rights, among others. Humphrey alumni had the opportunity to serve as speakers and panelists, exchange ideas and best practices, and network with influential leaders from the public and private sectors in Mexico.
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Fifty Humphrey alumni from twenty-two African countries participated in a Global Policy Dialogue that focused on addressing key issues such as digital and economic inclusion, public health, education, and sustainability. The gathering of prominent experts—including high-court judges, ministry officials, and senior representatives from organizations across Africa—in a range of policy areas concluded with the presentation of more than two dozen key findings and recommendations on topics related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
